Tooth Decay and Small Cavities

Our office uses only safe, white composite fillings. The traditional metallic amalgam fillings used by dental offices, are not only aesthetically dis-pleasing, but contain Mercury, which can cause long term damage to your health .

We may identify a cavity visually or with the help of x-rays or lasers. We first remove the decayed material by a drill and prepare for your filling by creating a microscopic etching that creates a surface area for permanent sticking of fillings. The way your cavity is filled is dependent on the location of the tooth, be it the biting surface or front of the tooth.
